Limitations
The RTVIS 100 system is limited to 320 by 240 pixels at 7 frames per second. Either 16 million colors or 256 shades of gray. Use of ultrasound images which require higher frame rates, such as echo-cardiograms or Doppler ultrasound should be verified by the end users as to the suitability of this system. Daragon Software, Inc. has not tested this system under these conditions and cannot recommend the use of this system for these conditions.
The RTVIS 200 system is limited to 352 by 288 pixels at 15 frames per second. Either 16 million colors or 256 shades of gray. Use of ultrasound images which require higher frame rates, such as echo-cardiograms or Doppler ultrasound should be verified by the end users as to the suitability of this system. Daragon Software, Inc. has not tested this system under these conditions and cannot recommend the use of this system for these conditions.
Note: We are currently developing a system which will provide frame rates of up to 30 fps over using up to 800KB of dedicated bandwidth via a TCP/IP network. Please contact Daragon Software, Inc. at 201-343-3388 for information as to availability of new systems. We expect to have RTVIS 500 systems available in Q1 1999.
